Very seductive even though she is samurai

Hey, I have a few things to say so just hear me out.. first off, I have had photoshop forever and know my way around it pretty well but have only just yesterday picted up a good tablet. (Intous3) So.. I was wondering.. how do all of you guys use that and photoshop 7 to make these things.. I'm soooooo bad at it and I guess I'm doing something wrong or ...something..

Second... the chick isn't a samurai.... think Kill Bill style.. What's-her-face wasn't a samurai. She was just a badass with a blade. I doubt she'd fight in that dress though.. I live action role play and I will say that it is nearly impossible to fight with a dress on... and weilding two blades is crazy difficult.

Anyway.. I hope I can get some help on like how to do the like awesome shading that all of you guys can pull off...

@mysticcat, LetaArtemis - yeah, she isn't really a samurai, her swords ended up looking like katanas. I should change the title to "Badass chick with swords" Fighting in a dress could have some serious advatanges... like her opponent trying to look at her panties instead of watching her blades
