Description

An image done for a 2D contest involving time jumps.
An asteroid collided somewhere in the past with a cosmic string. Since then, its existence was split in multiple "wheres" and "whens", a junkyard for the ships which approached it.

Photoshop 7, Wacom, 6-7 hours

Most pieces that make me squint and have to look very closely at the fine details are winners in my book. Agreed with previous, good lighting, color scheme, and definitely movement. Get a real sense that this is only a split second of the action.
